Sandra Kazee Named Overall Leader in Excellence by Supply & Demand Chain Executive
This award recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chains for competitive advantage.
BERKELEY, Calif.—March 27, 2025 — Ambi Robotics, the leader in AI-powered robotic sorting and stacking solutions for warehouse operations, today announced that Supply & Demand Chain Executive has named Ambi Robotics VP of Finance & Business Operations Sandra Kazee as the Overall Leader in Excellence of the 2025 Pros to Know award. The award honors company leaders who have made outstanding contributions to the supply chain space and whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders.
“Sandra’s ability to align financial strategy with technological innovation not only ensures our company’s growth, but also empowers our customers to thrive in an evolving logistics landscape,” said Jim Liefer, CEO of Ambi Robotics. “Her recognition is a formality for what the team at Ambi has already known – her leadership, dedication and strategic vision are invaluable to not only Ambi’s mission but the future of automated warehousing.”
Sandra was recognized for her financial leadership, contributions to the global supply chain industry and involvement in the community, especially underrepresented demographics like women in engineering and first-generation college students. Currently, Sandra focuses on developing Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS), a usage-based model that makes AI-powered robots more accessible and scalable for logistics companies to integrate into their warehouses across the United States.
“Many of today’s supply chain pros are more than just leaders within their space; they’re true pioneers of change. This year’s list of winners really pushed the boundaries in all facets; creating, implementing, transforming, innovating, reinventing, and collaborating. They executed on all fronts, over-delivering and over-performing. They are true professionals to know in the supply chain space,” says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and co-founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum.
Ambi Robotics Co-founder and CTO Jeff Mahler was also recognized in the 2025 awards as a Rising Star. Rising Star awards recognize a young professional whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the supply chain network. The full list of winners can be viewed at https://sdce.me/51zgjx6o.
