KEYENCE code readers integrate with AmbiSort to increase sorting speeds for global shippers

EMERYVILLE, Calif. – August 10, 2021 – Ambi Robotics, the leader in simulation-to-reality AI for supply chain robotics, announced today it is working with Keyence Corporation of America to apply the SR-5000 Series Logistics Code Reader to its high-speed parcel sortation systems, AmbiSort. This partnership with Keyence Corp. enables high-speed data collection at the pace of Ambi’s parcel sorting robots, increasing throughput for global delivery brands.

The Keyence SR-5000 high speed code reader offers the latest in ultra-wide field of view and depth-of-field reading technology that can capture data from the broad assortment of unique items AmbiSort can pick and pack. This partnership enables Ambi Robotics to scale its AI-powered parcel sorting systems to its customer base before peak in 2021.
